Back in the Hospital...

Everything was going well and I (Rebecca) was feeling a bit better each day and then on Tuesday evening I started to get alternating chills and night sweats. I took my temperature and it was 102 F and my entire body started to ache. I was also having extreme abdominal pain. So, the next day we called my doctor and he said to come in. After examining me, he concluded that I have a uterine infection. Oh joy! He said it can be potentially very serious and that he was going to readmit me to the hospital right away and start me on IV Antibiotics. So, back to the hospital we go. The doctors aren't exactly sure but they say I will be here for at least 2-3 days probably release on Saturday. They took a CT Scan Wednesday night to rule out any abscess or other problems, since it's rare to develop an infection 2 weeks after surgery. It came back negative or no problems. Needless to say, we are quite bummed about being back in the hospital. I say "we" because my wonderful husband has stayed with me and slept in my hospital room! He's so great! I know it's not the most comfortable place to sleep and especially with nurses and doctors coming in all throughout the night. But, he truly is a trooper and I couldn't do it without him!
I must admit we are physically and emotionally exhausted! Having 3 babies in the NICU is stressful enough. But, we are glad to at least be in the same hospital as the babies and so now we can see them more often! :) Please keep the prayers coming!
