It may look like a hug...
The other day, it was really sweet because it looked like Alana was giving Alexa a hug, which they have done in the past. Well, as the pictures show, this time it may have looked like a hug but it quickly became apparent that this hug had ulterior motives...

Big Shoes to Fill
Both Josiah and Alana love to put both Eric & I's shoes on. However, Alana LOVES to put her daddy's shoes on! In fact, whenever Eric comes home and kicks his shoes off, Alana is the first to run over and put her feet in his shoes. I keep telling him that he should put his shoes in the closet and so he has actually taught Alana where in the closet they belong. So, she will actually help him put his shoes away. I thought it was pretty clever, myself!

Is it Bedtime Yet?
We have recently converted from 2 naps a day to 1. I am super grateful to have made it this long with 2 naps, so I won't complain. The 1 nap a day does get some getting used to, though. They are definitely super sleepy and ready for their afternoon nap and also for bedtime. In fact, sometimes they will grab their blankets and all lay on the floor. That is a definite sign that they are ready for bed! We got some fun shots the other day of them just before bedtime. They started off all grabbing their blankets and laying on the floor and it soon ended up in a "dog pile". It was quite funny!

Our very first Easter egg hunt
Our church had an Easter picnic with an Easter egg hunt the day before Easter and the kids had a blast. They seemed to figure it out quite quickly. We just had to show them once how to put the eggs in the basket and within seconds they were off and running. They are definitely quick learners!
I was super excited to buy the girls these really cute Easter dresses. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. So, instead of getting to wear their dresses they got bundled up in their winter sweaters, hats and boots. Oh well! The dresses are still hanging in the closet waiting for a sunny day!

Bath Robes
The kids have a couple sets of these really cute bath robes. They love to run around with them on after they get out of the bath. We have red "ladybug" towels and blue "sailboat" towels and they love them both. My favorite is the ladybugs because of the antlers sticking out on the top of their heads.
They also love to sit on the little step in the bathroom on the side wall. I have no idea what the actual purpose of this particular ledge is, but the kids seem to think that it was custom made as a bench for them to sit it, and it is just their size.

Wagon Ride to the Easy Money
One of our favorite places to go is the "Easy Money". It is a convenience store that is located half a block from our last house. Since we only moved 12 blocks away, it is still within walking distance. So, we like to take the kids by every once in awhile since we have gotten to know the owners and workers really well. We decided to put the kids in the wagon and see how far we could get. Thankfully, we also brought along the stroller just in case they didn't last in the wagon the entire time. After only a couple of blocks, they started arguing over some toy, so we ended up splitting them up and pushing one in the stroller and then we alternated on the way home. It was a fun outing and the kids always enjoy going to the "Easy Money".
