We were at a family party today and Keesha had what must be the best quote, "If it takes a village to raise one child, it is going to take a city to raise three." I tell you that I could not agree with her more. We can't do this alone and we are so blessed to have Rebecca's family near and my parents available via a short flight away. In addition, we have already received meals from people in our small group and the prayer support has been incredible. GGCC, our church, has already been encouraging beyond belief as they share in our journey.
We did give some serious consideration to moving to the burbs where a small down payment would go much much further. However, at this point it just doesn't make any sense. Our two bedroom flat is just fine for now and will likely work for longer than we are even expecting. This pregnancy from the start is far beyond what we can do. God is the creator of life and He did one heck of a miracle to have three babies growing in Rebecca. Once they are born, we will not only need the village, we will need the City! As described previously, we are so thankful for all of the offers for help and will certainly be taking you up on it.
Everyone will be delighted to know that Rebecca has been feeling much better in the most recent week. She still has a bit of nausea but it is less constant than a few weeks ago. Our next checkup is on April 2nd, our 3 year anniversary!
