Are we doomed for a minivan???
Okay, one of the scariest moments so far has been going to the car dealer to check out the minivans. I have always loved driving my little sporty cars around and never imagined myself driving a minivan. My Lexus IS and Eric's VW Jetta just don't quite cut it for "triplet transportation". When we first found out about the triplets, we knew we would need to upgrade to a bigger car, but I had no intention of even entertaining the thought of a minivan. So, we started our quest by checking out the larger SUV's and the SUV crossovers. Very cute, but not so practical when you need to strap down 3 honking huge car seats. All the SUV's that have the third row are not "car seat friendly" in the way back. Plus, everyone keeps insisting that the sliding doors on a minivan are a lifesaver, especially when trying to chuck 3 babies, their car seats, and all their gear in and out of the car. Ugghh...I can't believe we are even considering it! I guess God is trying to help me to stop being so "car vain"! Oh well! Maybe once they are old enough to not need the huge car seats, we can jump back into the SUV world. Or maybe we'll fall in love with the minivan and never look back! Hmmm...we'll see!

"chuck three babies" - it sounds like they are footballs!
At least a minivan!!! Wait until they have friends and playdates and carpools....
We just bought a Honda Odyssey a couple weeks ago (our cars just weren't cutting it with both boys) and we LOVE it! I was reluctant at first, too, but it is definitely the way to go.
