Playing the Piano

My parents have a piano at their house which they bought for me when I was young and wanted to learn to play the piano. I actually took lessons for 5 years and really enjoyed it. It wasn't until I started high school and decided that I wanted to do Cheerleading that I stopped taking piano lessons. I can still tinker around and play a few songs here and there, but it would've been nice if I had kept practicing and playing. But, I guess you don't tell a teenager what to do, right? I'll try to remember that when I have 3 of them...Yikes!

Anyway, it was fun to let the kids play a bit on the piano. I kinda expected them to just bang on it, but I was really surprised at how "delicate" they were. All 3 of them enjoyed it, but Alexa was the one who seemed to really like it the most. She would actually play a different note with her different fingers. It was quite impressive, if I may say so myself! Maybe she'll be the next pianist in the family...

Alana & Alexa playing a duet.

Josiah most likely spotting some food in the other room.

Alexa showing Josiah how to play properly.

Josiah getting frustrated with having to share the piano with his sisters.

Alexa playing us a lovely new song (and Alana preferring to play with Elmo).

It's hard to believe they've gotten so big when they started out so small!!! The patient that asks about you (a woman and her two young-teen daughters) was in again on Monday, and she always asks about you, and always asks me to tell you that your patients are asking about you!
