Hearts for Valentine's Day

Eric loves to cook breakfast for the kids on the weekends! They get eggs, pancakes or waffles pretty much every day on the weekends. I want to say that they are "spoiled", but the truth is that I've been getting breakfast made for me on the weekends ever since we first got married. So, I guess the truth is that I am quite spoiled myself!

Eric decided to make heart shaped pancakes on Valentine's Day and they turned out really cute & yummy. The kids are used to getting their food already cut up in tiny pieces, so when we gave them the whole pancake they just stared at it for awhile like, "What am I supposed to do with that?" After we showed them how to take a bite out of it, they got into the hang of it and started eating it. Thanks, honey, for the yummy heart pancakes! We ALL loved them!

Yummy heart pancakes.

I think that's also a "snail" pancake?
