Josiah and my dad, aka "Papa" had lots of fun at my niece Jordan's 1st birthday party a couple of weeks ago. It just happened to be the hottest day in Napa in a very long time (almost 100 degrees). The kids were troopers, though. Eric laughed and said our kids our kids are "City kids" because Alexa rolled off the blanket onto the grass and started crying. "What's poking me?" We had a good laugh, but the truth is that we actually have grass in our front and back yard. Although non of them had crawled on the grass before then. :)
