Fun at the Mall

We found a fun play area at another one of the local malls. The kids love it and it's super fun! The only bad part is that we happened to go on a holiday when it was pouring rain outside, so I think every kid in a 10 mile radius was at this particular play area at the same time we were. We did go back another time and it wasn't nearly as bad. So, I think it'll become a regular play spot for us, since the kids love it so much.

Little Huggers

The kids have recently decided that they LOVE to hug. In fact, Alana has been following around her siblings and pretty much "tackling" them with love. It's pretty funny. Often times, however, the hugs end with a wrestling match or someone falling over and crying. Go figure! Oh well, we definitely have a lot of love in our house (as well as bruises)!

Hangin with the Cousins

I came across some fun pictures of the kids hanging with the cousins. The first one is at Thanksgiving with cousins Haley and Kaylah.

This one is at my mom's birthday celebration with cousin Eric and Davon.

Pajama Party

The kids have recently discovered "sitting" on things, such as boxes, stools & steps. They also just realized that the fireplace has a perfect height ledge to sit on. So, we found the 3 of them sitting next to each other all in a row on the fireplace ledge.

The Cal Academy Aquarium

For Christmas, my grandma got us a membership to the California Academy of Sciences, which is 5 mins from our house. We've gone twice already and have loved it! They have a toddler play area which is where we went last week. This week, my mom & I decided to take the kids to check out the aquarium. We wanted them to be able to walk around without losing kids in 3 different directions, so I broke out the "leashes" that we got for their birthday. This was the first time using them and it was pretty funny. We've practiced wearing the backpacks at home but forgot to practice with the actual leashes. They kept spinning around like, "What the heck is that attached to me?" By the end of the day, they were getting used to them but eventually wanted them OFF!!! So, overall, it was a very fun outing and we are looking forward to going back and exploring more!

After Dinner Fun

I mentioned before that the kids love to run around after we take their clothes off after dinner and before we put their PJ's on. This is by far their goofiest time of the day. They recently decided that they all 3 like to squeeze into tiny spaces (maybe they're having flashbacks from being in the womb?) Their new favorite place is the space between the fridge and the cabinet. The used to all 3 be able to squeeze side by side in the space but they're now getting too big and so they "fight" over who gets to squeeze in where. It's quite entertaining!

Where'd the tree go?

Before:

After:

I imagined the kids would be confused when they came out into the living room and the tree was gone. However, Josiah was the first one out and he didn't seem to care that the tree was gone but rather, he was ecstatic about the wagon that was suddenly in our living room (the tree was standing inside the wagon).

Hoodini

The other day, I went into the kids room after hearing them all waking up from their nap and this is what I found...

I am not sure what he was trying to do, but he managed to get "tied up" in his Superman shirt. It was actually quite challenging to get it off of him.

These are just some random "cheese" moments from our trip to Colorado.

Grandpa & Alana

Grandpa Gary had some fun snuggle moments with Alana recently. He would usually start by reading her a book and sure enough either one or both would soon end up sleeping soundly!
