The Cal Academy Aquarium

For Christmas, my grandma got us a membership to the California Academy of Sciences, which is 5 mins from our house. We've gone twice already and have loved it! They have a toddler play area which is where we went last week. This week, my mom & I decided to take the kids to check out the aquarium. We wanted them to be able to walk around without losing kids in 3 different directions, so I broke out the "leashes" that we got for their birthday. This was the first time using them and it was pretty funny. We've practiced wearing the backpacks at home but forgot to practice with the actual leashes. They kept spinning around like, "What the heck is that attached to me?" By the end of the day, they were getting used to them but eventually wanted them OFF!!! So, overall, it was a very fun outing and we are looking forward to going back and exploring more!
