We thought that the kids had some big smiles a few months ago when they were still in the hospital. The smiles and laughs are only getting bigger. It makes me think back to how excited we were to feel the first kicks and now we are elated at the first laughs. Part of this joy is realizing how new everything is. Stuff that we completely take as normal is new and interesting to view through the eyes of a child. Joe was telling a story to Rebecca last weekend. They clearly are able to communicate beyond words.
